England & Spurs midfielder Dele Alli launches own Twitch channel with Fortnite stream

Last season's Young Player of the Season will be looking to reenact his 'floss' celebration on the Epic Games title.

England and Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli will be making his Twitch debut this Wednesday, streaming the ground-breaking Fortnite Battle Royale on his own channel.

Alli is the latest in a line of celebrities and athletes offering an insight into their lives via the social video platform. In March, rapper Drake joined popular Twitch streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, accumulating more than 230,000 active viewers at any one point and practically catapulting Ninja to celebrity status overnight.

Fortnite Battle Royale is a free-to-play battle royale game developed and published by Epic Games. It has taken the gaming world by storm, with nearly a third of PC gamers currently playing the survival game

The question remains as to whether Dele is going to be good enough to ‘assist’ his virtual teammates as well as his real ones or whether he’ll go missing like a poorly aimed laser guided missile.

The 22-year-old has been in fine form this season, scoring 13 goals, for Tottenham as they look set to qualify for next season’s Champions League, and Alli is very much expected to be heading to the World Cup with England this summer.

Dele Alli will be streaming between around 6-7pm BST on Wednesday, April 25 via his channel twitch.tv/Dele.
