North Queensland Cowboys vs Gold Coast Titans: Five things we learned

On a hot and humid night in Townsville as most of the rest of Australia enjoys dropping temperatures, the Cowboys have prevailed snapping a five-game losing streak. 

In a knock on-a-thon mixed with soft and confusing penalties usually reserved for Rugby Union the Cowboys speed out wide massively swung the game in their favour and they now go into next weeks game against the Raiders with some sort of form and confidence.

For the Titans they received some questionable calls, although were well below their best and hardly looked likely all game until a mini late flurry of attacking inspiration.
