On Wednesday night, Spurs put in one of their most impressive performances of the season, comfortably beating Manchester United 2-0.
The win turned their form around, having been held 1-1, first by Southampton and then by Newport, and now leaves them just two points off Liverpool and Chelsea in the Champions League spaces.
Liverpool also turned their form around in midweek after a dominant display away at Huddersfield was a first step in banishing any lingering hangover from their disappointing defeats to Swansea and West Brom.
