Liverpool, Tottenham, Man Utd, Fulham, West Ham: Winners and losers of the transfer window

Premier League clubs voted to close the transfer window before the start of the season, in an effort to encourage teams to conclude their business prior to the first whistle.

Whilst Liverpool, Wolves and Fulham, for instance, went about their dealings efficiently, that's not been the case for a number of sides.

The likes of Manchester United spent the run up to deadline day scrambling around for another centre back, whilst Tottenham became the first club in Premier League history failing to sign a player in the summer transfer window.

It's over, though, and there's nothing more to be done. Here are the winners and losers of the transfer window:
