*LATEST* - New Ghost Type Pokemon Revealed
To celebrate Halloween, the official Pokemon YouTube channel has just given us a look at a brand new ghost type that will be found in the Paldea region as soon as the game launches.
Greavard, the new dog pokemon with a candle on its head was revealed in its own trailer showing its affectionate nature while also hinting at its dark ability to drain the life force of the people it plays with, even if it's unintentionally.
The Three stories are revealed!
The latest trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet finally revealed what the three stories for the game would be and as expected, they tend to follow the usual tropes of the games.
The first story is the classic victory road and the second one follows the battling of an "evil" team in the form of Team Star.
The third and final one is where everything changes up a little bit, seemingly taking an approach closer to Legends Arceus with battles against large titan-like Pokemon.
More Scarlet and Violet Details Revealed at Pokemon Presents
Pokemon Presents gave us a brand new insight into the upcoming generation of games, giving us a trailer and breakdown of what scarlet and violet will look like upon release.
This new trailer hinted at three potential stories for the game while also introducing us to the latest gimmick of Terastallization, our motorcycle-based legendaries we'll be riding across Paldea on and, of course, a bunch of new Pokemon confirmed for the games.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Release Date
Starting with the end of the trailer, the final shot revealed not only the designs of the two games but revealed that Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will be released worldwide on Friday, 18th November 2022 with digital pre-orders already available on the Nintendo Switch Store.
Legendary Pokémon and Other New Pokémon.
One of the more exciting things shown in the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet was a selection of new Pokémon including the two brand new box-art legendaries for each game respectively.
Five Pokémon were shown in total with the three normal Pokémon and the two legendaries.
The three normal creatures included a hamster electric type by the name of Pawmi, a grass type based on an olive named Smoliv and finally a pig Pokémon named Lechonk that is currently taking the internet by storm.
The two legendaries meanwhile are a flamboyant-looking dragon named Koraidon and a more technology-heavy dragon known as Miraidon.
I'm seeing double...TWO PROFESSORS!?
Yes, that's right. There appear to be version-exclusive professors for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet respectively. It appears that the game will see players attend some kind of school/university marked with a scarlet or violet badge and will see one of two professors be their guide through the new region.
While unconfirmed, the drastic difference in styles between the two legendary Pokémon as well as the designs of both of the professors seems to suggest that there will be themes of tradition vs technology in this new region. This could be an attempt to make replaying the other game more worthwhile, something not often seen in the Pokémon franchise outside of completing a Pokédex or a slightly different story.
Is Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Multiplayer?
As revealed in the game's trailer and on the official Pokémon Scarlet and Violet web page, generation nine will be the first time where a Pokémon game is a true multiplayer experience, allowing players to explore the games together in groups of up to four players.
Before this, the closest Pokémon had ever gotten to this kind of multiplayer experience was in generation eight's Pokémon Sword and Shield via the Wild Area, a large open field that had Pokémon spawns and allowed players to see other players from around the world who also happened to be in the area.
With the new games seemingly taking that Wild Area concept and expanding it to the whole region, Pokémon have decided to also expand the multiplayer aspects of the series, finally allowing players to enjoy a journey with friends in the main series games.
