The Bunnies entered this match looking to take top spot while the Broncos needed to win to secure a top-eight berth. Wayne Bennett came up against the man rumoured to be taking his spot at Brisbane - Anthony Seibold. It was a see-sawing affair and looked as though either side would nab it late. The Broncos did enough to skip ahead in the final stages and pull off a huge upset that cements their spot in the eight.
