Age: 28

Position: PG

Height: 6’1’’

Playstyle: Backcourt Shooter

Best stats: 94 Dribbling, 94 Speed, 93 Stamina

Walker will enter his eighth season as comfortably the Hornets’ best and most important player. Coming off a second consecutive year in which he averaged a little over 22 points and 5.5 assists per game, Walker isn't often mentioned among the elite point guards in the league, though he could easily lay claim to being underrated. With elite speed and handles to go with a great mid-range game, he is one of the most enjoyable players to play with on NBA Live 19.

Nicolas Batum, SG, 82

Age: 29

Position: SG

Height: 6’8’’

Playstyle:  Wing Shooter

Best stats: 94 Stamina, 88 On Ball Defense, 84 Driving Layup

Batum had an injury-interrupted 2017/18 season, and his numbers reflected as much. His 11.6 points per game were his second lowest since 2009, while his 3.7 assists were far lower than he averaged in each of his previous six seasons. Heading into this season injury-free, both Batum and the Hornets will be hoping he can provide much better backcourt support for Walker in 2018/19.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, SF, 77

Age:  25

Position: SF

Height: 6’7’’

Playstyle: Wing Defender

Best stats: 88 Stamina, 86 On Ball Defense, 84 Vertical

Kidd-Gilchrist has been disappointing since being drafted as the number two pick in the 2012 draft, with his inability to develop an outside shot significantly limiting the value he is able to provide to a team. He is, however, still a talented defender and a versatile player, and has the potential to offer value to a team in the right circumstances.

Marvin Williams, PF, 79

Age: 32

Position: PF

Height: 6’9’’

Playstyle: Post Anchor

Best stats: 87 Post Defense, 86 Stamina, 84 Driving Layup

Marvin Williams has been a journeyman of the NBA, hovering around the 10 point, five rebound mark for much of his 13 year career. Last season he contributed 9.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game for his Hornets, hardly eye-catching numbers, though he did demonstrate an improved ability to hit the outside shot, going a career-high 41.3% from long range.

Cody Zeller, C, 77

Age: 25

Position: C

Height: 7’0’’

Playstyle: Rim Protector

Best stats: 84 Stamina, 84 Inside Shot, 80 Rebounding

Cody Zeller goes largely unnoticed across the NBA, and it's relatively easy to see why with his stats. Last season, he contributed just 7.1 points and 5.4 rebounds in 19 minutes of playing time per game, numbers which have been relatively consistent across his five year career. Zeller is, however, an accomplished interior defender, ensuring he adds value to the Hornets in spite of his offensive limitations.
