NBA Live 19: Brooklyn Nets Player Ratings and Roster

The Brooklyn Nets will head into the season expecting to improve on their 28-win 2017/18 season, and could be a surprisingly fun team to play with on NBA Live 19. Below, we’ve listed the details of all their starters as well as the rest of their roster, plus their playbooks.

D’Angelo Russell, PG, 83

Age: 22

Position: PG

Height: 6’5’’

Playstyle: Slasher

Best stats: 89 Driving Layup, 86 Court Vision, 86 Passing

Russell’s first season at Brooklyn yielded mixed results for the former number 2 draft pick. Dealing with various ailments throughout the season, he managed just 48 games in which he showed much the same level of play as he had in the previous season at Los Angeles. He averaged a respectable 15.5 points and 5.2 rebounds, though he will be looking to improve on his defense and efficiency in 2018/19.

Allen Crabbe, SG, 79

Age: 26

Position: SG

Height: 6'6"

Playstyle: Backcourt Shooter

Best Stats: 86 3-point Shot, 86 Stamina, 85 Free Throw

Crabbe's first season in Brooklyn yielded a career-high 13.2 points per game, which unsurprisingly came about largely from his 3-point shooting. Though his percentage dipped slightly, Crabbe still hit 37.8% of long range shots in 2017/18. Though he is a valuable floor spacer, the Nets will be looking for a little more production from him as their starting shooting guard this season.

DeMarre Carroll, SF, 76

Age: 32

Position: SF

Height: 6’8’’

Playstyle: Wing Shooter

Best stats: 87 Stamina, 86 Vertical, 83 Speed

Veteran DeMarre Carroll became an integral member of Brooklyn’s starting five in his first season at the Nets, putting up 13.5 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists per night. Adding invaluable experience to a young Brooklyn lineup, Carroll will once again have an important role to play this season in leading this young team out of the doldrums of the Eastern Conference.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, PF, 81

Age: 23

Position: SG

Height: 6’7’’

Playstyle: Rim Protector

Best stats: 88 Post Defense, 86 Vertical, 86 Dunk

Hollis-Jefferson has been a capable defender since he entered the league in 2016, but last year he showed significant development at the other end of the floor too. His 13.9 points per game were comfortably a career high, as were his 6.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists, and though he is still a poor long-range shooter, his mid-range game did show some signs of improvement.

Jarrett Allen, C, 78

Age: 20

Position: C

Height: 6’10’’

Playstyle: Rim Protector

Best stats: 85 Stamina, 85 Inside Shot, 84 Shot Block

Allen was a late first round draft pick for the Nets at the 2017 draft, but showed plenty of signs that he was a steal at number 22 with an impressive rookie season. His raw numbers of 8.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game don't jump off the page, but he played just 20 minutes a game and showed excellent instincts at the defensive end of the floor. Expect him to take further steps forward in 2018/19.
