NBA 2K23 shot meter reportedly revealed in first gameplay leak

NBA 2K23 isn't too far away from the release date at the moment. However, we're already receiving a few potential leaks.

This time we've seen a still image of the new shot meter that players will have to adjust to. It looks quite a bit different than last year's meter.

The NBA 2K23 shot meter is going to be a topic of conversation once it's finally revealed. Now that there's a potential leak, we expect a full reveal soon.

Via NBA 2K23 Leaks & Intel on Twitter, a gameplay image showcasing the new shot meter was revealed. However, this hasn't been confirmed by the official NBA 2K Twitter account. Check out the shot meter below.

As you can see there's quite a bit of a difference between the NBA 2K22 shot meter and the reported NBA 2K23 shot meter, mainly the rounded-off top.

Official NBA 2K23 Release Date

Now that we've seen a potential leak of the shot meter in NBA 2K23, let's talk about when you can start playing the game.

The official NBA 2K23 release date is September 9, 2022. Unfortunately, regardless of the edition, there seems to be no early access available.

NBA 2K23 Reveal Trailer

The first look we received for NBA 2K23 was the reveal trailer for the Michael Jordan Edition of the game.

Jordan is a focal point of NBA 2K23 and there are actually two editions dedicated to the player considered to be the greatest of all time.

Since that reveal, there have been a few more videos added to the NBA 2K23 Youtube account. However, there has yet to be an official gameplay trailer.
