NBA 2K23 Limited: Season 1 Week 5 Rules & Rewards for a Championship Ring

The next NBA 2K23 Limited Event was revealed and we're going to go over the rules and requirements.

Along with those, we're going to take a look at the rewards that are available. There's also a new set that can help you get a few Amethyst cards.

NBA 2K23 Limited Event Week 5

This is the second to last NBA 2K23 Limited Event before the start of Season 2 so what do you need to do to get your lineup set?

You'll want to grab your best Amethyst card for this Limited Season 1 Week 5 challenge, we'll have a few selections for you below.

This challenge is very specific, as you'll need to make sure that you use cards from a particular MyTEAM set, the '23 NBA: Series 1 set.

Here is the full list of lineup restrictions:

• You must use 5 '23 NBA: Series 1 cards in your lineup
• You may use up to 1 Amethyst
• You may use up to 5 Rubies
• Remaining cards must be Sapphire or lower
• No Free Agent cards allowed

Rewards for Season 1 Week 5

The rewards this year center around a few key themes, mainly the Takeover Option pack which features several 93 OVR cards.

To earn that, however, you'll need to grab six Championship Rings. Keep in mind, if you didn't earn one from previous weeks, you can't earn additional rings.

There are also rewards just for wins in NBA 2K23 Limited that count as MyTEAM rewards and give you some XP along the way.

Destroyer Packs in MyTEAM

There are a few Amethyst cards that are available in NBA 2K23 MyTEAM that you can use during the Limited Event.

There are three Amethyst cards in this set including a new Kawhi Leonard card. This card should be able to give you a leg up on the competition.

The two other cards are pretty great too, the Amethyst Bruce Bowen - 91 OVR - SF/SG and Amethyst Theo Ratliff - 91 OVR - C/PF.
