Can you believe it has already been four
game weeks of the NBA season? Can it slow down, please? Anyway, in the last
week we’ve seen some players absolutely dominate or make highlight reel plays.
Each week, NBA 2K20 are releasing their Moments of the Week players. These celebrate stand out performances, be it a whole game of dominance or a single moment of magic. As always, with the number of games in each week, there are plenty of moments to choose from.
So, who are our picks for Moments of the Week 4?
James Harden, Houston Rockets
BUCKETS: Harden was on fire against the Clippers
It seems like every time Harden steps on the court he is unstoppable. Well, on Wednesday night against the Clippers he was at his best.
The Rockets star had 47 points on 12-27 shooting (16/17 free throws), and added seven assists and six rebounds. His monster game powered the Rockets to a 102-93 win over the preseason champs and was the latest crazy game in his career.
Paul George, Los Angeles Clippers
I'M BAAAACK: George has been on fire since his return to the court
George is finally in the lineup for the Clippers and it doesn’t look like he has missed a beat, and he showed that against the Pelicans.
The small forward shot for 33 points and tacked on four assists and nine rebounds in his season debut on Thursday night in New Orleans. The Clippers may have lost, but George is back and was undoubtedly one of the moments of the week.
Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards
SPLASH: Beal gave the Celtics fits on Wednesday night
With the quality of several teams in the
East, the Wizards are easy to overlook, but against the Celtics, Beal put the Wizards
on his back and the league on notice.
The shooting guard has been on fire all
week, and could’ve earned an MOTW card for multiple performances. He was just
different against the Celtics. He dropped 44 points, six assists and five rebounds
as the Wizards fell to the Celtics 140-133.
Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks
STAR: Yet another triple double for the star-in-the-making
In what would have been remembered as Kristaps Porzingis’ comeback to New York game, should instead be remembered as the latest game Doncic excelled in.
The Mavericks may have lost by three, but it wasn’t on Doncic. The second year player notched another triple double, dropping 33 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds. In a pretty tough environment for the Mavericks, Doncic was unflappable and deserves an MOTM card for it.
Here are the other six players we see getting an MOTW 4 card.
- Jrue Holiday, New Orleans
- Trae Young, Atlanta Hawks
- Eric Bledsoe, Minnesota
- Fred VanVleet, Toronto Raptors
- Ja Morant, Memphis Grizzlies
- Terry Rozier, Charlotte Hornets
