PG – Jamal Murray, Denver Nuggets @ Los Angeles Lakers

There don’t seem to be any truly outstanding, can’t-miss point guard options on tonight’s slate. So this could be a good time to go for a home-run swing like Jamal Murray. The Nuggets’ second-year guard put up his second 30-point game in his last three games with 31 points on 13-of-18 shooting against the New Orleans Pelicans.

After a four-game stretch of averaging just 8.3 points, Murray is putting up 27 points per game in his last three. Is it that hard to imagine him delivering yet another prolific performance against a Lakers team that’s giving up the fifth-most points to opposing point guards? Not at all, which is why he should be under serious consideration to start.

SG – Justin Holiday, Chicago Bulls @ Phoenix Suns

Justin Holiday celebrated the birth of his child in some style as he set a new season-high with 27 points on 10-of-15 shooting (four of seven on 3-pointers) to lead the Chicago Bulls to a rare win. Holiday may be the Bulls’ leading scorer, but he’s an admittedly risky play given his inconsistent shooting.

However, he can be very good when he’s on, which is certainly great news for his value. Holiday will get to go up against a Suns team giving up the seventh-most fantasy points to shooting guards, so while Holiday likely won’t be quite as good, he will at least have the upside to produce another strong game.

SF – TJ Warren, Phoenix Suns vs Chicago Bulls

It’s been a while since Warren last had a standout fantasy night. He’s averaging just 13.5 points over his last two games, although he’s still been contributing in other categories. However, it should be a matter of time before Warren gets back to the 20-point range.

He hasn’t gone three games without topping 20 points this season as the Suns’ second option offensively, and he’ll have a terrific matchup to keep up that impressive streak as he faces the Chicago Bulls.

PF – Paul Millsap, Denver Nuggets @ Los Angeles Lakers

Paul Millsap is turning into the terrific two-way player the Nuggets were hoping for when they signed him to a huge free-agent contract in the summer. The 32-year-old is having a strong November thus far on both ends of the floor, averaging 17.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.8 blocks, 1.6 steals, and 1.6 3-pointers this month.

He should be a good bet to put up some comparably strong numbers in tonight’s against a Lakers team that will look to push the pace to keep up with the Nuggets’ impressive offense.

C – Hassan Whiteside, Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers

After a slow start to the season hampered by a knee injury, Hassan Whiteside is finally playing up to his terrific capabilities lately. The Heat’s star big man is putting up 17.4 points, 15.8 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks over his last five games. That includes three games of 16 or more rebounds.

It’s hard to see Whiteside not being able to keep up that torrid run as he faces off against an Indiana Pacers team which has had problems against opposing big men all season long. 50 points in FanDuel scoring should very much be in play.
