The latest update for Borderlands 3 is here, and boy is it a big one.
With a host of new game changes, bug fixes, new content and more, you best be ready for this ‘patch’.
The update is set to go live at roughly 12:00 PM PST, which is 15:00 EST and 20:00 GMT, so get those alarms set!
Without further ado, let’s jump into the latest update patch notes for Borderlands 3.
The new content with this update is phenomenal and adds support for Designer’s Cut to the game.
As well as this, the addition of Designer’s Cut sees a fourth skill tree for each Vault Hunter, Arms Race is added and Multiverse final cosmetics as well (for those with the Season Pass).
The update also adds Mayhem 11, a new Mayhem level above, you guessed it, Mayhem 10.
In this Mayhem level both the quality and quantity of World Drops is halved, however, Mayhem 10 gear does drop so no need to re-farm everything!
Anointments have been updated to support the Fourth Skill Tree, including 14 new Action Skill Damage Anointments.
The game devs have removed Mayhem Level gear from enemies and added Final Form cosmetics to New-U stations.
Both audio and animation memory have been optimised. The audio priority system has also been changed for player gunshots.
The UI performance has been optimised and the ECHO map is now prevented from rotating unexpectedly.
Zane, The Operative has had various skill tree changes in order to increase the diversity in his Skill Tree build.
This includes swapping Death Follows Close and Seein’ Red on the skill tree, as well as adding a +15% Kill Skill bonus to Seein’ Red.
Similarly, Confidence Competence and Distributed Denial have been swapped on the Skill Tree, and Gun Damage has been buffed for Confidence Competence.
Finally, the Duct Tape mode now grants Zane immunity to damage from his own weapons and grenades.
Amara and FL4K also see changes with this update, as both will receive various Class Mod and Anointment changes.
The Faisor, ION LASER, Shredifier, Trevanator, Tunguska, Linc, Rebel Yell, Hornet, Nemesis and Flakker have all received damage buffs.
Similarly, the Hornet has received a damage splash buff and the ION LASER has received a buff to the number of projectiles that are released when the weapon stops.
