MLB The Show 22: Sizzling Summer bosses teased, predictions for all new content

MLB The Show 22 is gearing up for the Sizzling Summer featured program to arrive, and along with it will come tons of Diamond Dynasty content.

Here's everything we know so far about the Sizzling Summer bosses and what else is coming to MLB The Show 22 with this release.

MLB The Show 22: Sizzling Summer program start and end date

While most of the featured programs so far have arrived on a Friday, things are changing up a bit as Sizzling Summer comes to MLB The Show 22.

Following last week's drop of Double XP and the latest roster update, an updated in-game schedule revealed Sizzling Summer to be the next featured program.

Future of the Franchise has been going nearly four weeks, and its departure also signals the start date for Sizzling Summer on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at approximately Noon PT.

While an end date for Sizzling Summer has not been confirmed, we do know now that it will have a total of 5 bosses, same as the Spring Cleanup program earlier this year.

We expect Sizzling Summer to follow some of the same patterns, and the confirmation of 5 bosses also likely means the program will last just three weeks and has a likely end date around Thursday, July 21, 2022.

With the 2022 MLB All-Star Game set for Tuesday, July 19, 2022, it's likely we'll see a new program arrive shortly after that wraps top performers from that event into the content.

Sizzling Summer bosses and content predictions

As of now, Sony San Diego has yet to confirm the bosses for this upcoming Sizzling Summer program or many of the content details.

However, they did drop the first of likely several teasers hinting at one of the new bosses:

Predictions from fans in the replies to the tweet seem to settle mostly on Vida Blue or Rollie Fingers, with many divided on whether the photo is facing forward or backward to showcase a left-handed or right-handed picture.

With the confirmation there will be five bosses in total, we expect just two of the five will be unlockable via the Sizzling Summer reward track.

Another three-week program will likely mean a decent batch of Flashbacks and Legends, and we're likely to get two Conquest maps with more hidden rewards.

There will likely be Summer themed equipment also packed into the reward track as well as Stubs, Packs, and more.
