MLB The Show 22: How to claim your free Home Run Derby X Pack

It's almost time to enjoy all the festivities of the 2022 All-Star Break including the All-Star Game and the fan favorite Home Run Derby.

MLB The Show 22 is expected to have same-day content for both events in Diamond Dynasty, but things have already begun with the new Home Run Derby X Pack.

While we didn't know the pack was coming, Home Run Derby X is actually an MLB initiative announced back in late March 2022.

The event will include a global tour with MLB Home Run Derby events held in London, Mexico City, and Seoul, South Korea in addition to the expected Los Angeles event.

This new pack honors the four representatives chosen for that event (Adrian Gonzalez, Jonny Gomes, Geovany Soto, and Nick Swisher) with their own new 95 OVR Home Run Derby X cards.

The first free pack all players can earn right away is available now in The Show Shop, and all you have to do is load up the game and "purchase" this freebie.

Three other Home Run Derby X packs are available in limited time content, as all of this is set to have an end date of Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Noon PT.

Home Run Derby X Conquest, Showdown, and Moonshot Weekend 4

While everyone can snag the Home Run Derby X Pack for free in The Show Shop, players willing to put in a little work can get a lot more.

This release has been accompanied by three major limited time content additions: Conquest, Showdown, and the Moonshot Weekend 4 Event.

First up, we have the new Home Run Derby X (London) Conquest Map, and we can confirm it does have hidden rewards though we're still pinpointing all their locations.

For completing the map, players will also receive several packs and equipment including another Home Run Derby X Choice Pack.

They've also added a new Home Run Derby X Showdown with Final Boss Gerrit Cole, and players who finish that will receive a Home Run Derby X Choice Pack.

Finally, the Moonshot Weekend 4: HRDX Event has arrived to give an Online challenge to players who prefer to play that way.

Players can earn two more Home Run Derby X Choice Packs at 5 Wins and 10 Wins in this limited time Event.

Altogether that gives players a shot at up to five free Home Run Derby X Choice Packs, and there are just four players to pick from.

If you've been working towards earning XP for the Sizzling Summer featured program, this new content is here to help as players can get a bulk 10,000 XP for the program by collecting all four of these Home Run Derby X cards.

As a result, we suggest not selling until you've completed that collection, but anyone who earns all five will be able to collect four and sell a final one on the marketplace for some extra Stubs.
