MLB The Show 22: Double XP active through Spring Cleanup end date

MLB The Show 22 continues to drop new content in Diamond Dynasty, and they've still got Double XP rolling strong.

We've got details on exactly when Double XP will conclude, how players can take advantage of it, and the end date as the next Featured Program hits MLB The Show 22.

MLB The Show 22 still has Double XP active for Diamond Dynasty

If you've been working on the Spring Cleanup Featured Program in Diamond Dynasty, Double XP is here to speed that process up.

Originally activated on Friday, May 13, 2022, the current Double XP boost is scheduled to remain active in MLB The Show 22 until Friday, May 20, 2022 at Noon PT.

Players who haven't yet taken advantage of the boost still have a few more days to enjoy it, and it's key to note the bonus only applies to Gameplay XP.

Any XP that's given as a hidden reward in Conquest or via completing steps on Archetype Program or Other Program is not affected by Double XP, as this boost is specific to what you earn by playing actual games.

That accumulated XP goes towards the active Featured Program, which for now continues to be Spring Cleanup, and can help players unlock even more rewards for their Diamond Dynasty squad.

This Isn't Moonshot Event set to arrive

If players are looking for a way to play games and work with Double XP, they may wanna keep an eye out for the upcoming This Isn't Moonshot Event.

Following the second installment of the Moonshot Weekend Event, Sony San Diego seems to be playing coy with the name on its successor.

While full details aren't known yet, an inverted set of Event rules would likely result in something focused on allowing some of the best pitchers in the game while restricting other players.

We'll learn more details about the Event once it's gone live, but one key reward has been revealed as seen above.

All-Star Dante Bichette, which will be a very solid 92 OVR card in Diamond Dynasty, is likely to become a must-have for some players.

Bichette has traditionally had some very strong Hitting stats in Diamond Dynasty, and the same is likely to be true for this new card.

Other reward, including packs and past Diamonds from Events, should be up for grabs in addition to the Double XP players will earn while playing this week.
