With the season now underway, the MLB The Show 22 April Monthly Awards Program has already arrived with the first highlights as Topps Now Moments.
We've got details on when the rest of the program will drop and what you can earn, including the Lightning Legend Andre Dawson near the end of the MLB The Show 22 April Monthly Awards Program.
MLB The Show 22 April Monthly Awards Program Release Date
With Opening Day in the books, there are already new Topps Now Moments in MLB The Show 22 highlighting some of the big performances players have already delivered.
In the past, Topps Now Moments worked as their own individual programs in Diamond Dynasty with their own rewards, but they've combined them into the Monthly Awards Program in MLB The Show 22.
All of that begins with the MLB The Show 22 April Monthly Awards Program which has just arrived, but there will be more content hitting the program in the coming weeks.
The official release date for the final part of the MLB The Show 22 April Monthly Awards Program is Friday, May 6, 2022 when the last pieces of it should be revealed and the Lightning Legend will be attainable.
There will be three stages in this program, and while they didn't clarify which dates will correlate to which stages, the layout of the program does give us clues.
Players will be required to complete a 17 player Topps Now Moments Collection in order to unlock access to Stage 2, and as a result we expect a total of 17 Topps Now Moments cards to be released over the next few weeks.
With the first 5 already available, that leaves 12 more Topps Now Moments cards to be revealed, likely meaning we'll get 6 more on Friday, April 22, 2022 and a final 6 more likely to land on Friday, April 29, 2022.
This would matchup perfectly for the May 6 release to include the rest of the program, filling in Mystery Items in Stage 2 and Stage 3 with up to 8 different Monthly Awards Players with at least one likely to be a Lightning Player for April.
April Monthly Awards Rewards & Topps Now Moments Players
While some of the program is still full of what are each labeled "Mystery Item" representing cards that will be added in the coming weeks, we already have a view of the full reward track.
You can start working through the Week 1 Moments already to earn points towards the MLB The Show 22 April Monthly Awards Program.
It's important to note that while the Topps Now Moments Players you unlock in this program are able to be sold on the marketplace, you will be required to do a Collection with all 17 in order to gain access to Stage 2 of this program, so we do not recommend selling them.

So far the only tasks available are the Week 1 Moments and the shell of what will be the full Collection to reach Stage 2 in this program.
We expect more Moments and Missions to be added in the coming weeks as more Topps Now cards are added and we eventually reach the full Monthly Awards release.
By completing all of the available Week 1 Moments, you'll be able to get 16 Points and unlock all five of the Week 1 Topps Now cards in Diamond Dynasty.
