Thousands of users are reporting issues with YouTube comments not showing under videos with technical issues on the site's side the likely culprit. According to reports, it seems these issues began at roughly 12:30pm EST.
While the company has yet to acknowledge these issues, the team at YouTube is most certainly on the case and working for a solution. Here's what we know so far.
At the moment the YouTube comments not displaying issue seems to be happening on all platforms, and whether you're signed in or not won't make a difference. Further, using the site in incognito mode or clearing your browser cache is also not working to fix the problem.
With this, and the only way to enable/disable comments on YouTube being content creators controlling comment sections of their own videos, it seems there's no technical solution users can use to fix YouTube comments themselves. Instead, this problem must be solved by the team at YouTube.
Thankfully it seems the rest of YouTube outside of comments is still working fine, though servers may need to be reset depending on how fixes are rolled out.
As this problem progresses, we'll cover all the latest news and updates here on how to fix the YouTube comments not showing up issue.
