Will Silent Hill be at the Summer Game Fest?

Summer Game Fest is one of the year's most exciting game events. Alongside the Xbox and Bethesda showcase, they will be giving tonnes of information over the span of just one week. With so many Silent Hill rumours floating around, it may be worth a reveal. Here's what we know about it so far.

Will Silent Hill be at the Summer Game Fest?

According to tonnes of sources like reputable journalist Jeff Grubb and well-known gaming news site VGC, Silent Hill is making a huge comeback. Though the details are a little sparse right now, it seems we may be getting a main game, a Silent Hill 2 remake and a few more projects.

Either way, all these rumours are clearly leading to somewhere. It seems likely that the team are gearing up to announce at least a few of theese projects and Summer Game Fest is a great way of doing so.

This being said, there is a chance it may not show up. Although rumblings have been coming out from the industry, we don't know how far along into development any of these projects are. Silent Hill is a very special property and the demo of P.T led to quite a lot of trouble for Konami. Maybe they are planning on keeping it under wraps for a little while longer until they have a concrete release date of some kind.

When is the Summer Game Fest?

Summer Game Fest is finally due to go live on June 9th, mere weeks from now. Alongside this will come tonnes of announcements and teases at the future of gaming over the next year or so. If you're really looking forward to it, you can even catch it in an IMAX cinema.
