The Division Heartland was announced a little while ago now and - after skipping E3 2021 completely - we're looking forward for some answers about what The Division Heartland is actually going to be like and when we can jump into a game! Gamescom 2021's Opening Night Live showcase presentation is on the way and we know Ubisoft is going to show something - We think The Division Heartland could be it! Here's the latest...
When does Opening Night Live begin?
Opening Night Live is due to start at the following times - the two-hour showcase is going to be hosted by Geoff Keighley, so you'll want to tune in:
- 11:00 August 25th - PST
- 14:00 August 25th - EST
- 19:00 August 25th - BST
Keighley has confirmed that titles like Far Cry 6, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and Genshin Impact are all going to appear - However, there's a lot that he hasn't confirmed. We think titles like Gotham Knights and Ghostwire Tokyo could show up and we know Deep Silver has a Saints Row-related announcement to make...
What are we expecting to see from The Division Heartland?
Is it too vague to say "anything" in response to this question?
The Division Heartland was announced and that was pretty much it. All we know is that it's due to be a free-to-play title set in the universe of The Division and it's due in 2021 or 2022. This is what they had to say:
" The game will be made available in 2021-22 on PC, consoles, and cloud. Those interested in participating in its early test phases can sign up here."
Yeah, the announcement article from Ubisoft EMEA's Executive Director Alain Corre is pretty light on information... Other than this, we've only seen the following announcement that The Division Heartland wasn't going to be at E3 2021:
So, we want to see pretty much anything from Ubisoft when it comes to The Division Heartland. We want to see some sort of trailer that hints at what we're getting into and a narrowed-down release date would be nice - although we're not as hopeful about that one.
