For a very brief moment, LucasArts published a trailer for their upcoming game, Star Wars Eclipse, on Facebook, ahead of its reveal at The Game Awards.

It has now been fully revealed during the show and will be developed by Quantic Dream, of Until Dawn Fame.

While the early trailer did now show too much, it will likely be a very much narrative focused, with a heavy impact on choices and consequences.

Reveal and Trailer

All we know is that it is "set in the High Republic era of Star Wars."

Below is the game's official description:

"Set during the High Republic era, Star Wars Eclipse™ is an intricately branching action-adventure game that can be experienced in many ways, and puts the destinies of multiple playable characters in your hands."

Star Wars Eclipse Release Date

The release date of Star Wars Eclipse was not confirmed during the trailer, with Geoff Keighley saying that it is 'in early development.'

Therefore, release will be years away at this point.

That also means that pre orders will not be open quite yet, but we'll let you know once we hear more.
