Splatoon 3 release date
Splatoon 3 was originally scheduled to be released in March 2022. However, this was pushed back. Although many fans were annoyed by this, it felt better to push it back. Who wouldn't want a fully fleshed-out game?

New game modes
Many fans watching the new trailer feel like it's very similar to past games. However, this is all set to change with a tweet from the German Splatoon Twitter account.
The official Splatoon account for Germany added a tweet which hinted at new game modes being added. Translated to English, the tweet stated that new modes and more will be included in the new game.
Additionally, data miners have revealed modes for Splatoon 2 that didn't make the cut, so maybe Nintendo will add these ideas to the third game. Nobody can be certain until we get the announcement from Nintendo themselves.
