Release Date

To celebrate the game’s anniversary, Scott Pilgrim vs the World: The Game is making a comeback!

The remastered classic will be available from Thursday, 14 January.

Trailer

If your memory needs jogging or you just haven’t heard of Scott Pilgrim before, check out the trailer to see what it’s all about.

As you can see, there is plenty of retro gaming action to get excited for.

Platforms

Ubisoft have revealed which platforms the game will be available on.

“Rediscover the beloved 2D arcade-style beat 'em up game inspired by the iconic comic book series and movie.

The game you know and love is coming back on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and more!”

The game is also available on PC and Stadia, but we have not had word on whether the “and more” includes Next Gen consoles.

Complete Edition

The Complete Edition adds to the excitement of this 2010 classic.

FLASHBACK! We can't wait for this retro remake
FLASHBACK! We can't wait for this retro remake

Not only is the game being remastered, but it “includes the original Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game, as well as its original DLCs - the Knives Chau and Wallace Wells Add-On Packs.”

This really will give us the full experience once more.

Multiplayer

Something that seems to have left many games recently is local play.

Fear not though, as you will be able to team up with up to three friends either locally or online in battle.

If that doesn’t take your fancy, you can compete against them too in a variety of mini-games!

Game Modes

Alongside the original storyline, there are a couple of different game modes to try out too.

Test yourself against hordes of Zombies, compete to the end in Battle Royale and eliminate your opponents in Dodgeball.
