Gameplay Trailer REVEALED
Nacon has now revealed the NEW official Gameplay Trailer for Rugby 22, and it looks like we are in for a treat!

The Gameplay Trailer shows off the improved AI behaviour which means players will position themselves and react in a more realistic way, while your opponents will make better choices on and off the ball.
The trailer also showcases the new in-game controls which have been redesigned for a more responsive and intuitive game experience.
A new difficulty mode has also been added to the game. This offers the highest-skilled players a tougher opposition and a more difficult challenge once they have mastered the game.
NEW licences announced
Licences are so important in any sporting sim in order to bring a sense of authenticity and realism to the game.
We now have confirmation of the licences for the Top 14, the Pro D2 and the United Rugby Championship!
Luckily, Rugby 22 will have the rights to the vast majority of major rugby clubs and nations, including the following teams:
- New Zealand
- Australia
- France
- Fiji
- Ireland
- Italy
- Scotland
- Wales
- Japan
- Georgia
Fans will find all the clubs of these leagues, with their players and their official jerseys.
Features
Rugby 22 offers players all the elements that make up modern rugby, combining recognised official teams, tactical changes before and during the match, pod play options, offloading after contact and combination play all into one game.
You will have the option of playing alone in single-player mode, or in multiplayer via local matches and online, so you can team up with your mates and take to the field together!
You can create your own club in Career Mode, where you will be able to build your dream team, climb the ranks and challenge for major trophies!
Rugby 22 will be a realistic rugby simulation with real tactical depth.
You'll be able to set up pods and your wing positions, organise your defence and make clever combinations to get the better of your opponent in attack.
The new sim will offer an authentic rugby experience with animations that aim to closely resemble the real players' movements thanks to motion capture technology and improved by Next Generation consoles.
