UPDATE Rockstar Games Launcher DOWN: Status Updates, and More

LATEST - You are still unable to purchase the GTA Trilogy remasters on PC through the Rockstar Games Launcher as it remains down.

Rockstar Games' latest release, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition, has just hit the stores and it looks like the Rockstar Games Launcher is down. Great timing, right? It looks like it was scheduled maintenance, however, they have been down for over 15 hours now.

Here's the latest on the Service Status for the Rockstar Games Launcher and Rockstar Games' servers - are they down too?

UPDATES - As of 11:51...

Rockstar Games' Rockstar Games Launcher remains down and the issues below remain unchanged. The Support Page is displaying the following message - which was tweeted below:

" We thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to work on restoring services for the Rockstar Games Launcher and supported titles."

Rockstar Games' PC troubles

At the moment, it looks like the Rockstar Games Launcher is down in full - this includes Authentification services, the Store itself, Cloud storage services, and any downloading. You won't be able to buy and download games - or even update the ones you have - at the moment.

In addition to this, it looks like Red Dead Online and Grand Theft Auto Online are both having server issues on PC. If you're looking to jump into either of these, you'll have to wait. This is mainly due to the fact that you need the Rockstar Games Launcher to access them. Grand Theft Auto Online and Red Dead Online should be fine on consoles, for the moment.

The latest update from Rockstar Games reads as follows...

" We thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to work on restoring services for the Rockstar Games Launcher and supported titles."

Many are calling on Rockstar Games to add offline support to the single-player portion of their games - and the new Grand Theft Auto Trilogy remaster. "Single-player games live and die by the launcher's status", said one Twitter user.

Keep an eye on the Rockstar Games Support Status page for the latest. At the moment, we don't know how long the Rockstar Games Launcher will be down, it could be a few more minutes or it could be hours.
