Pro Cycling Manager 2022 offers a tasty mix of cycling sports simulation, management and real-time racing.

Players must lead their teams to the top of the rankings in this new opus with many new features.

From a more realistic rider generation system and new AI behaviours to a new talent detection system and an improved interface, players can now enjoy the 260 races, 680 stages and 70 teams available, thanks to 20 years of expertise from Cyanide.

Release Date

Pro Cycling Manager 2022 became available on Thursday, 9 June, alongside Tour de France 2022.

It will be available on PC only, and you can find it in the Steam store here.

New Talent Scouting System

Players can now choose the territory and young riders they want to monitor in Pro Cycling 2022, with your scouts developing and improving their effectiveness over time.

Scouts will send you regular information about characteristics and potential to help you make a more informed decision, learning more about the riders.

New Generation of Cyclists

A new mechanic based on the level and potential of young riders using a six-star rating system has been introduced.

Young cyclists now emerge from the age of 16 and contribute to a pool of athletes three times larger than before.

These versatile riders develop in the same way as current stars of the cycling world.

Improved Interface

A redesigned interface, menu ergonomics and objective planning aren't the only changes made in Pro Cycling Manager 2022.

A new cyclist page has also been added, which includes new statistics, highlighted skills and results, and an interface to compare the attributes of two athletes.

Other New Features

There are plenty of other new features arriving this year, so check them out below:

• Cyclist Development System - For more realism, all riders recruited must now be integrated into the team for optimal development of their talent.
• More Dynamic Opponents - The pelotons in Pro Cycling Manager 2022 have more varied behaviours, breaking with the familiar patterns of previous editions. Players can see their favourite riders take the lead from the start and watch multiple breakaways from the very first hour of the race.

• 70 Teams Available - Players can become the sports directors of top teams such as Team Jumbo-Visma, B&B Hotels-KTM and Groupama-FDJ.
• Stamina and Resistance Update - These scores now have a bigger effect on how effort is exerted during a race. This allows some riders to attack several times or manage their effort at the end of the race better.
