Pokemon GO Goes Down During New Battle League Event

Pokemon GO is currently down due to server issues - just as the new Battle League event was set to kick off.

The team at Niantic are currently looking into the problem, but it may be some time before servers are back, and that means the GO Battle League may be pushed back for some time.

Here's what Niantic Support Tweeted out about the outage: "Trainers, #GOBattleLeague is currently unavailable as we investigate server issues. We apologize for the inconvenience, and will continue to update here."

Since this original update, Niantic have continued to work on the Pokemon GO server issues for over an hour, and still no luck on a solution.

We have not gotten any other updates on the new server problems, or how GO Battle League will be handled with the new downtime.
