Looking to play Outriders with crossplay support? If you want to link up with your friends and how you can play with them no matter their platform, we have everything you need to know.
Outriders' crossplay support operates a little differently but it isn't that hard to set up a session and jump into whatever chaos Enoch has to offer.
Outriders Crossplay Support
Outriders is one of the most unique games out there at the moment and that is partially due to its' peculiar crossplay support system.

Crossplay is always disabled by default. However, if you want to enable it you need to hit the "Play With Friends" icon in the Lobby Screen and head to the Options menu.
From here, you just need to find the "Enable Crossplay" option on the Gameplay Options menu and it will open up the opportunity to generate your game code when you're back in the lobby.

Please note, you need to get through to Rift Town in the Outriders story before you can actually do this. This only takes about an hour and it helps you become familiar with what's going on, so it isn't a bad thing.
It's also worth noting that if you're playing in the same "console group", like Ps4 and PS5, then the pre-established friend list will also work.
No Cross-Save Support
One thing that Outriders doesn't have at the moment is cross-save support. This means you can't start playing on your PS4, then carry on with the same characters and progress on an Xbox.
You can transfer sales between current generation consoles and next-gen platforms, however, so it isn't all bad.

It's a shame that you can't jump between systems at will, but at least you don't need to buy Outriders on the same platforms as your friends. If you don't have a console, you can still jump into all the fights with your friends on both Xbox and PlayStation.
