Where to buy a Nvidia RTX 3080 GPU today

Since the new RTX 30 series was released in late 2020 they have been extremely difficult to get hold of, with only a handful of cards hitting the market at any one time.

Eventually, stock levels should even out and they should become more accessible, but until they do we can try our best to help you grab a brand new RTX card.

3080 Stock Update

It has been extremely difficult to find an RTX 3080 ever since it launched late last year, with even the other RTX 30 series cards being difficult to find, although it is slightly easier to find a 3070 or 3090 than it is a 3080.

This is largely due to scalpers buying them in large quantities to sell online, buyers are regularly paying 50%+ more than the retail price to buy these cards online.

There is also a silicon shortage, which is an essential component in manufacturing a GPU, this shortage is also hitting other industries such as car manufacturing.

New graphics cards do trickle into the market every day but it is usually a single figure amount of cards, not enough to keep up with demand.

Where To Buy An RTX 3080

When it comes to trying to buy a 3080 right now, all I can say is good luck.

Stock does trickle into the market on an almost daily basis, but it is that small that unless you're extremely lucky you won't get one.

Even if the stock was available right now, by the time I finish writing this they will likely be gone, nevermind by the time you find this article.

eBay is always an option, but be prepared to pay over the odds for a card, in the last couple of days they have sold for anywhere between £1078 (not actually too bad) all the way to £2199.

If you're willing to pay scalped prices then I would suggest just buying a RTX 3090, they are slightly easier to find and sometimes can be found for as low as £1400.

Here are many trusted retailers (there are a lot of scam sites out there cashing in), as well as some key social media accounts to follow for stock updates so you can try and grab the latest RTX card.
