No Man's Sky Frontiers New Features

Today, a brand new update entitled "Frontiers" hit the game and it comes with some new changes. Here's what you should know about it.

Frontiers puts a big focus on settlements, this time around, letting you build your own settlement and start your own little world. In some planets, you will find settlements, small communities of life, interacting and living with each other. If there's life on the planet, these can pop up.

Perhaps the most interesting thing about it all is the ability to found your own settlement. If you have the right credentials, you can become the overseer of a settlement, where you can help with town planning, layout, decoration and tonnes more.

If you've always wanted to play a city management sim in No Man's Sky, you can do that right now.

Alongside this comes updates to the citizens you find. You can help the settlement grow with the right decisions which brings new citizens to the town and gives them personality.

You are often sent out to help settle citizen disputes and must solve them in any way you think is best. If you come to a good agreement, citizens will be happy with you as their overseer.

Finally, new changes have been made to base building, affecting the scale and use of the build mode. This is designed to give a little more freedom than you have previously had so you can now duplicate parts, build impossible structures in free mode and so much more.

It also comes with a much cleaner hud which should help with all that building. You can read all about this update in the PlayStation Blog.
