Now two weeks past launch, the New World population data is showing a healthy player count that could mean longevity for Amazon's first MMO game.

But with launch hype behind us, how many players are jumping into New World?

Here's all the latest data on the New World population and player counts including peak users, average concurrent users, and users in queue each day.

ACTIVITY: There are plenty of players to group up with to survive New World's biggest dangers

According to data collected from New World Status as well as Steam population counts - New World currently boasts an average of roughly 500,000 concurrent users a day across all servers.

The record concurrent users peak for New World was over 913,000 players, reached in early October.

How does the New World player count compare to other MMOs?

This number puts New World in the upper echelon of modern MMOs - in competition with World of Warcraft's estimated 3-4 million active players, and FFXIV's estimated 3 million active players.

NEW HEIGHTS: New World has posted some impressive player counts so far and is still going strong

While most MMOs keep subscriber and player population data secret, Steam helps us keep track of the New World population size, offering some transparency for how the game is progressing.

We'll never have a perfect count of any modern MMOs population size - but these New World player counts point to a very successful launch that could carry into a healthy pillar of modern MMOs.

New World Queue Times & Sizes

It's no secret that Amazon has struggled to keep up with New World queue times, despite releasing dozens of servers post launch to cover the rush.

WORTH THE WAIT: There are some incredible sights in New World for those that survive queues

With massive streamers trying out New World, and many sticking to it weeks since launch, the game has generated a ton of excitement. With massive streamers come massively overpopulated servers with viewers looking to play alongside their favorite content creators.

As a result, there are some New World servers that are simply not worth the hassle when it comes to queue times. These servers reached records of 5 figure queues, and some are still out of control to this day.

Around these massive outliers, however, New World servers and queue times have by and large improved with more players spreading out to other server options.

As long as you avoid peak times, you should be able to get into most New World servers without a significant queue, unlike the massive rush at launch.
