New World Open Beta End Time & Full Game Release Date

We've been waiting a long time now, following a series of delays, but the release of New World is getting close. Before then, though, it's time for the open beta. If you're jumping in you'll want to know when the New World Open Beta end time is set for.

New World Open Beta End Time

Unlike the closed beta a month or two ago, Amazon Games have been more forthcoming with the end date of the New World Open Beta.

The New World Open Beta will end at 2:59am ET / 7:59am BST on September 12. Therefore, it is only running for a few days to test the servers.

If the beta is extended for any reason, which is certainly possible if there are any issues., we'll be sure to let you know.

Final Release Date

While New World was originally supposed to release at the end of August, it was pushed back after issues arose during the closed beta.

Amazon Studios released the following message about the new release date:

" Along the way, you've also given us a ton of feedback that we'll use to make New World even better. We want New World's launch to be a smooth and fun experience for all players and that means making some improvements based on what you encountered during Closed Beta. So we're going to take a few extra weeks to smash bugs, improve stability, and polish the game. New World's global launch date is September 28, 2021."

" This was not an easy decision to make... We want to be sure we deliver you the highest quality game possible at launch. "

Unless some serious problems rear their head during the open beta, the release date will now be final and New World will release on PC on September 28.
