LoL Patch 11.2 Patch Notes Reveal Upcoming Buffs and Nerfs

With update 11.2 on the horizon, one of the developers has shared some new intel about the upcoming nerfs and coming making their way into the game.

Here is a quick look at which champions might be better or worse after this next update for League Legends.

Champions balancing

Mark Yetter, one of the gameplay developers at Riot Games, revealed through his Twitter account the different changes the patch will be implementing into the game's current meta.

Buffs

As expected, some champions are set to undergo some big buffs and nerfs in an attempt to balance them out. According to the tweet, here are the champions getting a buff:

• Dr. Mundo
• Trundle
• Shaco
• Nocturne
• LeBlanc
• Caitlyn
• Varus
• Senna
• Soraka

Senna was one of the most affected by the removal of items like the Hextech GLP-800, so it's good Riot is keeping an eye on which champions need a big push.

Nerfs

On the other hand, here are the champions that the patch is lookin to nerf:

• Aatrox
• Darius
• Olaf
• Nunu
• Maokai (support)
• Akali

Drain tanks are currently a big meta in the game, so the patch wants to reduce that by balancing some of the champions classified under that category like Aatrox.

The developer mentioned that this changes are still a work in progress, so they will probably keep working on balancing the meta once the patch is released.

Patch 11.2 release date

This new patch is set to be released on Thursday, January 12.
