Knockout City hasn't been out long, but they've already been bringing new content to the game on a weekly basis.
That continues this week with Heatwave, and we've got all the details you need on this new limited time event in Knockout City.
Knockout City: Heatwave Start & End Date
Knockout City has officially commenced Heatwave, and this new limited time event comes with all new challenges and rewards for players to earn.
Start Date: Tuesday, June 22, 2021
End Date: Monday, July 5, 2021
The event will only be going on for two weeks, and that likely means the Heatwave Event Shop where you can redeem the Ice Pops and tickets earned throughout will close when the event ends.
Just in case the shop does vanish along with the event, it's probably the best bet to redeem all your Ice Pops or Heatwave tickets before things come to an end.
We don't currently know the end time for Heatwave, but if they choose the same time as when it went live, things could wrap up as early as 8am ET on Monday, July 5, 2021.
Heatwave introduces Ice Pops, new contracts, and more
The new event for Knockout City will center around the hunt for Ice Pops, which are now going to be scattered across various maps in the game for the duration of the event.
Once collected, these can be cashed in for special limited-time items like an Ice Cream Truck glider, new intro poses, and more.
You'll be able to redeem tickets earned throughout the event in the Heatwave Event Shop, and there should be plenty of options to choose from.
In addition to the Ice Pops, you'll also have a shot at a new Legendary Ultimate Hologram: the Fire Hydrant.
This special edition item will only be obtainable if you complete all of the new Heatwave contracts that have been added for the event.
With just two weeks to work on those, you'll need to act fast if you want to snag the Fire Hydrant hologram.
Heatwave also brings new playlists
Finally, in celebration of Heatwave, Knockout City has also added new playlists to pair with the limited time event.
The first, Party Face-Off, is live today and features a 1v1 matchup with All Special Balls using Classic Face-Off Rules (Danger Zone, no border warnings, etc.).
The second, Triple Team Chaos, begins on June 28 with a 2v2v2 team free for all where the first team to 15 KOs wins the match.
Playlists tend to be rotated regularly, so we should get more unique rules and matches for Knockout City following the conclusion of Heatwave.
