Will Gotham Knights be Open World?

The fantastic news for DC fans is that Gotham Knights will be Open World and a huge one at that. According to an interview with the game's director, it will be 'the biggest version of Gotham ever represented in a video game'.

More emphasis has been placed on layering and verticality than ever before, so revealed gameplay features like the grappling hook will be your best bet to get to those hard-to-reach spots.

While we don't know the exact size of the map yet, we know it will be pretty huge, as it will have to make room for multiple players alongside you.

How Long Will Gotham Knights be?

While we don't know exactly how long Gotham Knights will take to complete, we can make some guesses based on the information we have so far.

The gameplay reveal is cited as "A dozen hours into Batgirl's storyline', and with 4 playable characters, we can assume the gameplay will have up to or beyond 50 hours of gameplay.

While there will no doubt be ways found to speed run the game, fans can be assured that all the Gotham content they could possibly want will be included. With the open world element, even if you complete story mode there will likely be tens of hours of side quests to satisfy fans.
