Dying Light 2: How to Change Arrows

Dying Light 2 has a pretty huge world and so many options to choose from. If you're looking to take out all those enemies from a distance, you don't have all that many ranged options. The bow is the most resourceful and easy to find. Here's how to change arrows in Dying Light 2.

How to change arrows in Dying Light 2

Before you go to change arrows, you first have to learn how the hotbar works. You have to set your bow to a quick access tab by setting it to your D-pad in the inventory. When you find weapons, there will be four slots you can place them in.

You can then hold right on the D-pad to cycle between the best choices. From here, hover over the bow and click R1/L1/RB/LB to cycle through all your options.

Initially, you will use the default arrows but you can switch through different types to get the best outcome. This will give you the ability to use your environment to take out as many zombies as possible. If you see an oil spill, a fire arrow can do tonnes of damage. If a few are in the water, an electric arrow can take them all out.

Just make sure you don't accidentally hurt yourself with the tougher arrows.

How to get new arrows

There are a handful of ways to get new arrows. You can find them on bodies or in crates. Enemies holding bows tend to give you more arrows so watch out for them.

Outside of this, you can craft your own arrows. By going to the crafting shops in settlements, you can buy all new recipes, some of which will help your bow. From here, you can upgrade them with the right ingredients. Just explore the world and you should unlock everything you need to.
