Hogwarts Legacy Voice Actors Cast - Simon Pegg Stars

Hogwarts Legacy is finally almost here, after months of waiting for anxious fans of the Harry Potter universe. We have already caught a glimpse of the huge explorable world and much more through gameplay reveals, leaving fans on all platforms very excited for the release date.

The Wizarding World has seen its fair share of big names participate in movies, but who will be bringing the game to life? Here's everything you need to know about who will be voicing all the characters in the new title.

Hogwarts Legacy Voice Actors - Simon Pegg as Headmaster

In Hogwarts Legacy, actor Simon Pegg plays Phineas Nigellus Black, the cantankerous Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. From a long lineage of Slytherins, Headmaster Black is hated by the students, for whom he also has a great disdain.

Wildly ill-suited to his job, his goal is to do the least amount of work possible and avoid exposure to the student body – preferring to focus on his status in the wizarding world and his surgically manicured beard.

Simon Pegg is one of the most well-known comic actors of all time, starring in films such as Paul, and Hot Fuzz. He has also voiced characters in films such as Ice Age, so he will be perfect for the Hogwarts Legacy Headmaster role.

Sebastian Croft and Amelia Gething as your Customisable Student Avatars

As fifth-year students entering Hogwarts for the first time, Sebastian Croft and Amelia Gething play the two voice options for the game’s playable avatar. These can be highly customized, enabling players to choose the witch or wizard they want to be.

While not quite as well known as Simon Pegg, Hogwarts LEgacy is not either of their first acting outings, so we have no doubt they'll be able to bring the students to life flawlessly.

Lesley Nicol as Professor Matilda Weasley

Leslie Nicol voices a familiar name in Hogwarts Legacy. A Griffindor, she is the Deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts who aids the player in catching up with the other students by giving them the Wizard’s Field Guide and showing them the Room of Requirement.

Best known for Downton Abbey, she will be one of the only tangible connections to the Harry Potter we all know, as a distant ancestor of Ron and the Weasleys in Hogwarts Legacy.

Jason Anthony as Nearly Headless Nick & The Sorting Hat

Nearly Headless Nick, the Gryffindor house ghost, also known as Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington, is friendly and entertaining if a bit pompous. He may be the key to helping the Gryffindor player find answers crucial to solving a significant mystery.

Not to forget of course the iconic Sorting Hat, a sentient, magical hat, which uses knowledge from the student’s past along with input from the player to determine which Hogwarts house will be the right fit.

There are a fair few other voice actors playing smaller parts, as well as some yet to be announced. One thing is for sure though, Hogwarts Legacy will make the Wizarding World come alive like nothing else.
