Hogwarts Legacy Release Date
The initial release date of Hogwarts Legacy is scheduled to be February 10th, for PS5, Xbox Series S, and PC. Other platforms will have to wait a little longer though, with delays just recently announced to their release dates.
Last Gen consoles PS4 and Xbox One will receive Hogwarts legacy on April 4th 2023, less than two months after the initial release. By this time, hopefully, all the bugs and issues should have been ironed out, and the game should play a lot smoother.
Nintendo Switch players will, unfortunately, have to wait a little longer, and will receive the game on July 25th, 2023.
For players with the initial release date, there is a way to access the new RPG even sooner. If you pre-order either the Collector's Edition, or the Deluxe Edition, you'll be able to drop into the action a full three days early.
Trailer and Gameplay
With the release of Hogwarts Legacy just around the corner, we've already been treated to tons of gameplay. The best showcase, however, remains the official trailer here.
The trailer shows off some very exciting gameplay features, including a console-exclusive quest and the room of requirement. Expect more to drop too as the launch date approaches.
It also shows just how free you are to choose your own path, with dark spells and magic on offer, as well as simply fighting for good. One thing is for sure, Hogwarts Legacy will be a treat for Harry Potter fans everywhere.
