During the Square Enix Presents showcase at E3 2021, we got an extended look at Square Enix's Guardians of the Galaxy, which is due to release later this year.
Release Date
Square Enix's Guardians of the Galaxy game is set to release on October 26, 2021. Below is the official descriptions:
"Guaridan's of the Galaxy is finally coming out as a video game. You'll take control of the popular Guardians of the Galaxy characters like Star-Lord, Groot, Drax, and Rocket Racoon in this third person action adventure game."
Beyond the reveal trailer, which we'll get to below, we don't know much about the game.

While we knew that Square Enix was working on a Guardians of the Galaxy game, below is the new trailer for the game, which is our first look at it in action.
How It Compares to Marvel's Avengers
Although it is published by the same company that published Marvel's Avengers, we don't know how it will compare to the 2020 game.
The new trailer did not feature any gameplay, but Guardians of the Galaxy will presumably be a third person action game, in a similar vein to the studio's other titles.
