Escape from Tarkov Servers Down

These server issues arise hours after a planned technical maintenance on servers, which BattleState Games has reminded players of frequently on social media.

These planned maintenance hours would take Escape from Tarkov down for extended maintenance on March 2nd from 8pm EST to 11pm EST.

These new server issues, however, have arisen 3 hours before this scheduled maintenance.

We'll update this story as news comes in, but for now, players will likely be unable to access Escape from Tarkov servers until the maintenance period ends.

Steam Issues

These new Escape from Tarkov server issues come after a period of connection problems for Steam users playing Apex Legends and Rust.

These users received the infamous Steam Auth Timeout error message when playing these games.

These problems have since been fixed, however, and are unrelated to the Escape from Tarkov situation - which could simply be an early maintenance mistake.
