New Dying Light 2 Skill Tree teaser confirms over 45 new abilities for Aiden

We have all been waiting a long time for Dying Light 2 and news on Dying Light 2's gameplay - thankfully, it looks like the wait is over. Dying Light 2 is on the way and Techland, the studio behind this hotly-anticipated sequel, is teasing more and more each day.

Earlier, Techland shared a new look at Aiden's Skill Tree in Dying Light 2 and it confirms that there will be - at the very least - over 45 unlockable abilities and attacks. Here's what we know so far.

Dying Light 2 Skill Tree - All confirmed skills

Aiden's Skill Tree in Dying Light 2 looks to be separated into two main branches: Combat and Parkour. As far as we're aware, these two Skill Tree branches will run alongside one another with the player able to pick and choose which to unlock and when.

Following the Skill Tree teaser, we now know the following Skill Tree abilities are coming to Dying Light 2.

Combat Skill Tree

• Block Charge
  • When blocking, charge at an enemy in front of you and knock them to the ground;
• Perfect Parry
  • Parry at the last moment to stagger an enemy;
• Ground Pound
  • Perform a powerful attack while mid-air;

Parkour Skill Tree

• Far Jump
  • Use any obstacle to spring from it and jump further;
• Bash
  • Bash through obstacles and enemies without stopping;
• Tic Tac
  • Run alongside horizontal surfaces;

Of course, this is just a fraction of what's to come - but it helps you to get an idea of the sort of thing to expect. It looks as though there are abilities involving arrows, sliding mechanics, melee weapons, wall-climbing, and more. You can check out the Skill Tree teaser yourself below:
