Dying Light 2: Are There Romance Options?

After its initial announcement in E3 of 2018, Dying Light 2 is set to release in just a few short days. The sequel to Dying Light and later with DLC, Dying Light: The Following, has been highly anticipated and the game's fans cannot wait to get their hands on it.

Due to several delays and lack of details since then, many of the game's fans have expected only the best to come out of Techland's newest release, and this includes having different several options in the game.

Are There Romance Options in Dying Light 2?

During the franchise's first installment, video game fans got to experience a plethora of different characters, all with deep stories to tell, and it looks like Dying Light 2 will be no different.

Expected to have a multitude of characters, the game is looking to be a great way for players to find someone to interact with at every corner, this gives potential to romances.

In a Ask Me Anything video, Dying Light 2 lead game designer Tymon Smektala went on to answer several of the fans' questions. One of these questions pertained to possible romance options within Dying Light 2, an option that is seen in many western RPGs. At first, Smektala confirmed that there are plenty of characters players can form strong and complex relationships with, but players won't be able to romance them.
