LATEST - Diablo 2 Resurrected Revealed at BlizzCon 2021
The Diablo 2 remake is now official after a massive announcement at BlizzCon 2021!
This new game will be called Diablo 2 Resurrected, and will bring the classic gameplay of one of Blizzard's most influential games back with some brand new looks. It will also be available on PC and consoles with Cross Progression.
Diablo 2 Resurrected will even remaster all of the game's cutscenes, so it will look amazing!
BlizzCon 2021 has delivered massively for many series, and Diablo especially with a Diablo 2 remaster announced alongside revealing a new class for Diablo 4.

Will Diablo 2 Feature Online Multiplayer?
There is plenty of insight to take from the unreleased Diablo 2 expansion. An excerpt from Stay Awhile and Listen: Book 2 suggests that this would have expanded on Diablo 2's multiplayer capabilities.
Primarily, there would be a Guild System implemented with communal spaces and Guild activities.
" One cool guildhall feature was the Stieg Stone, a stone named after designer Stieg Hedlund where guild members could deposit money..."
Sadly, this was scrapped along with the expansion. However, could we see Vicarious Visions bring this back in a Diablo 2 Remake?
