Death Stranding is one of those games where everyone should get the chance to play it - even if you're not ultimately a fan of the game, it's an interesting exploration into the future of humankind and there are several ground-breaking features in play that could also signpost where single-player titles are going next. Hideo Kojima's genius is unbridled, but it can be a little complicated to weave all the strands of this game into one, understandable, thread.
Still, Death Stranding is a great game and the Director's Cut only builds on this experience with more features, more content, and more walking. If you're looking for the ultimate Death Stranding experience, you'll be pleased to know that Death Stranding Director's Cut is coming to PC sooner than you might think.
The base version of the game is available now, but when does all the new Director's Cut content come out? Here's what we know.
Latest - Director's Cut Steam page mysteriously appears
We haven't seen an official announcement of the release date for Death Stranding Director's Cut on PC yet, but it could be right around the corner.
A separate Steam page for the Director's Cut version of Kojima Productions' Death Stranding has been spotted and it's currently listed with a 2022 release date. This isn't exactly a surprise, but these usually only pop up when an announcement is imminent and pre-purchasing is set to begin.
At the moment, all we know is that Death Stranding Director's Cut is coming to PC via both Steam and the Epic Games Store in Spring 2022.
With any luck, this will be cleared up and clarified soon - however, we could be waiting a couple of months for more information. Spring 2022 could mean anything from March to May, really - although the announcement post from 505 Games has suggested we'll get some questions answered by the end of January 2022.
