There's Going To Be Dynamic Events
The Battlefield series is known for destructible landscapes and interacting with the structures around you like no other shooter allows.
This trend will continue into Battlefield 2042 - which will feature dynamic events on all of its maps, including powerful sandstorms, a space rocket launch, tornadoes, and more.
These will change the landscape around you as you fight for the W.
All The Battlefield 2042 Maps So Far
Let's go over the 7 maps teased so far for Battlefield 2042, and where players will go to fight it out come launch day.
Kaleidoscope (Sogdo, South Korea)
Kaleidoscope will take Battlefield 2042 players right into a major city with tall buildings, busy roads, and plenty of room for chaos.

This map has a dangerous tornado looming on the outskirts that players will have to watch out for.
Manifest (Brani Island, Singapore)
Manifest looks to be a much more lowkey and tactical map for Battlefield 2042, featuring a heavily wooded shipyard.

The map will feature at least one helicopter which could very well run the show hunting down opponents from the skies.
Orbital (Kourou, French Guiana)
Orbital will be a very unique Battlefield 2042 map that takes players to the launch pad of a massive rocket and surrounding facility.

The rocket will be counting down to takeoff, and this will likely play a part in some game modes, while certainly effecting the landscape around the map once it goes.

Discarded (Alang, India)
Discarded will be a very open map in Battlefield 2042 placing players in an open landscape broken up by massive ship hulks on the land.

The map also includes some other high-reaching structures like cranes that will surely be a contested spot for players.
Renewal (Eastern Desert, Egypt)
Renewal will bring a stark contract between its two sections in Battlefield 2042, with one side being an arid desert, and the other being an agricultural center with lush green all around it.

This may be the most open Battlefield 2042 map, with structures only including agricultural facilities.
Hourglass (Doha, Qatar)
Hourglass takes Battlefield 2042 to another packed city - filled with tall buildings and activity. Outside of the city there is a long roadway, a dome-like building, and a sandstorm looming.

This map will feature some heavy machinery in the skies with some dangerous looking planes that will no doubt be a race for players to reach.
Breakway (Queen Maud Land, Antarctica)
Breakaway brings the most rugged terrain of any Battlefield 2042 map, with massive mountaintops that players will have to navigate carefully via wingsuit.

Below the mountains there's also some industrial buildings that will provide some additional cover and more strategic locations to fight for.
