Since its announcement back at The Game Awards in 2020, Back 4 Blood has become a hugely anticipated release and it won't be long now until you can go hands-on with it as part of the next beta phase.
With Turtle Rock Studios at the helm, the developers behind Left 4 Dead, fans are confident this will be just as big a hit as their previous titles.
LATEST - Back 4 Blood Beta Starts Next Week
The Back 4 Blood open beta starts next week with the early access phase. It will be live on Thursday, 5 August and you have a few ways you can gain access. If you have or intend to purchase (before the beta date) any edition of the game, you automatically have access.
Intel Gaming is also offering codes with no purchase required, you simply need to follow the link in the above tweet.
If you are happy to wait for the open beta phase, this will begin on Thursday, 12 August.
Back 4 Blood Open Beta Release Date
The Back 4 Blood open beta will take place between 12-16 August 2021. This is the full open beta with no restrictions on entry. No word yet on what will be playable during this beta. Based on the closed alpha from earlier in the year, a limited section of the game and character will be available.
There will also be early access open beta for select players. This will take place between 5-9 August 2021. You will have to pre-order the game on any of the available platforms to gain access to this beta.
How To Register For The Back 4 Blood Open Beta
With this being an open beta, the method for signing up is quite simple. Head over to the official Back 4 Blood website and select 'OPEN BETA' in the top right corner.
From here you can register for the beta. Note if you plan to use the early access beta as you've pre-ordered the physical version of the game, you must register for a WB Games account.
If you have pre-ordered through a digital storefront like Epic Games Store or Microsoft Store, your beta access will be delivered this way.

The announcement for Back 4 Blood may have only happened in December, but we're not short on content for the game. We've also already had one closed alpha which proved popular among fans and critics alike.
Towards the end, we also get a glimpse of one of the boss monsters that has been seen in the closed alpha also.
