With the long winter nights drawing in and more people spending time indoors, Nintendo were always going to produce a big patch for Animal Crossing: New Horizon.

Nintendo aren't replacing the Switch just yet, but one of next-gen's common features is coming to Animal Crossing.
Nintendo have detailed their plans for Animal Crossing for the next few months. After a quiet time of late, a video has been released that summarises what's coming to New Horizons on 19th November!
The events for November and December are detailed in the video. You'll find there's an event on 26th November "Turkey Day" for Thanksgiving.
Franklin the turkey will appear and ask you to help him cook dinner for the occasion. Just under a month later, "Toy Day" will occur for Christmas Eve. Jingle the Reindeer will pay you a visit.
You'll have to go around the village and deliver gifts to the people. What presents will he have for you though?
There are some brand new reactions and hairstyles that can be bought with Nook Miles. Hip Reaction Collection can be bought for 2,700, which is quite a bit, but it includes nine new reactions!
These are Sit Down, Wave Goodbye, Take a Picture, Sniff Sniff, Work Out, Yoga, Here you Go, Excited & Ta-da.
The Top 6 Stylish Hairstyles can be bought for 1,800 and includes everything from a bowl cut to an afro.
On a sidenote, your overall item capacity can now be increased to 2,400. This is up 800 from the previous limit of 1,600.
The problem of starting a save as a guest on Switch and losing that progress will soon be a thing of the past. If you play on a friend's console, then decide you want to play more at home, you can transfer your save to your game later on.
