What's new in Minecraft Caves and Cliffs Part Two?

Minecraft Caves and Cliffs part two, otherwise known as Minecraft 1.18, changes a great deal about the moment to moment gameplay in Minecraft. What equipment do you need?

You need Pickaxes made out of stone or better to harvest iron. You won't need to go too far into caves so it shouldn't be too hard to get your hands on them. Try and get some rudimentary armour, torches, food and a few stone pickaxes for your best chance of getting it.

Where to Get Iron in Minecraft

Iron is incredibly common when it comes to chests and villagers. For this reason, you can find it easily if you go into towns or look for big caves.

If you're looking to mind it for yourself, Iron can be found throughout most layers in Minecraft. That being said, it seems to be most commonly found between y=95 and y=136. Just search around in between these layers for your best chance of finding some. Luckily, they're never too hard to get your hands on so you shouldn't have too much of a problem here.
