Everything We Know About the Minecraft How to Train Your Dragon DLC

Minecraft has undergone a lot of change in the last decade, most of which is down to the imagination of the millions who play it. From a Diablo-style spinoff to caves and cliffs, all the way to a 16-bit ALU, it is inspiring how far it has come.

Its DLC is only a microcosm of that creativity but it comes polished with nice textures packs and an even nicer idea. Today, Minecraft talks about dragons.

What is the How To Train Your Dragon DLC

Taking place in the Isle of Berk, this DLC has you explore the world the movie is set in, with a new texture pack, a new map and all new items.

Perhaps one of the most exciting parts of it is the ability to actually ride the dragons. Presumably working like the elytra item, it gives you the freedom to fly wherever you like through the Isles.

Alongside this, it has a story you can contextualise throughout the land and missions to take part in alongside Toothless, the main dragon from the movies. There are 24 skins, featuring iconic characters from the franchise alongside a multitude of activities and new areas to explore
