The latest news in the NFL is that Russell Wilson has been traded to the Denver Broncos. We immediately jumped into Madden 22 to run a quick simulation.
Two seasons is Denver produced some drastic results in our Franchise Mode sim. We're going to go over both of them below.
Let's see just how well Russell Wilson did in Denver for his first two years.
Madden 22 Russell Wilson Franchise Sim
Getting Russell Wilson over to the Denver Broncos was a little complicated, but the details of the trade could work. If not, you might have to force a trade in Madden 22.
Once we added him to the team, we began our simulation in Franchise Mode. The opening game had the Denver Broncos against the New York Jets and the Broncos easily won, 33-0. We took no part in playing the game so we had no influence on the outcome.
The rest of the season in the 2022-2023 season went rather well for Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos. They entered the playoffs as the number one seed with a 13-4 record. They also had the leagues fourth-best offense.
Here are Russell Wilson's stats in his first year with the Denver Broncos in our Madden 22 simulation:
- Russell Wilson
- 3,760 yards
- 33 touchdowns
- 11 interceptions
- 65% completion percentage
His favorite target during the season was Courtland Sutton who racked up 1,010 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. Unfortunately, they lost in the Divisional Round of the playoffs to non other than the Kansas City Chiefs.
Second Season with the Denver Broncos
In our Madden 22 Franchise Mode second season sim with the Denver Broncos was much worse for Russell Wilson and the team. They went 6-11 that year and missed the playoffs by a mile.
Wilson's own personal stats were pretty awful as well, and you could attribute his performance to the results for the team.
Here are Wilson's personal stats for the 2023-2024 season in Madden 22:
- Russell Wilson
- 4,108 yards
- 26 touchdowns
- 22 interceptions
